Cake Batter Blondies

Cake Batter Blondies

I stumbled on this recipe on Pinterest over a year ago from Six Sisters Stuff, and it has been by far the most baked recipe in our house in the past year. I bring these to every choir rehearsal, youth group, Bible club, bonfire, party, and babysitting job that I can, and they are always a hit! Everyone loves them, including me, and I'm constantly finding excuses to bake them. However, I should warn you that is impossible to eat just one. Especially if you have a sweet tooth even half the size of mine.

Ingredients:
cake mix (white, yellow, or funfetti)
 1/4 cup oil

slightly less than 1/3 cup milk
 1 egg
 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Grease a 8 by 11 pan.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, egg, and milk, and stir until dough forms. It should not be extremely moist, but more dense.

4. Add white chocolate chips and stir them through.
5. Press dough evenly in the bottom of the pan.
6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until edges are slightly brown.

Now for the frosting!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup softened  butter
2.5 tbs milk
 2 cups powdered sugar
food coloring
Sprinkles (Nonpareils) Optional

Mix all the ingredients together, and spread on top of slightly warm blondies. I usually let them cool almost all the way, and then put the frosting on so that it gives an iced look without being too melty. Add nonpareils if desired.

Enjoy! I know you will :)

NOMS!

These make a perfect treat for babysitting or a birthday or just for fun!
